xerjoffcasamorati1888

Casamorati’s documented history reaches back to 1888, when it exhibited at Bologna’s Grande Esposizione Emiliana and became associated with Queen Margherita of Savoy, who presented Casamorati with a gold pin in appreciation of its scented products. The house continued into the early twentieth century but closed around the mid-1900s after financial difficulties, and its perfumes disappeared from the market for more than 60 years. Xerjoff acquired the rights to Casamorati and revived it in 2009, retaining the original flacon and logo. The revived house was presented as a continuation of nineteenth-century Italian perfumery and an ode to the Art Nouveau era, combining historical references with modern perfumery techniques. Its fragrance legacy includes Lira, based on a Casamorati perfume originally released in the late 1800s. In 2018, Xerjoff became Xerjoff Group, whose portfolio included Casamorati.
