Yacht is presented as Royall Yacht, a fragrance from Royall Lyme of Bermuda, inspired by Bermuda’s coast and the open sea. The parent house traces its founding to Anthony J. Gaade, a Bermudian yachtsman and international racing competitor who brought its first fragrance to market in 1957. Conceived as a line of gentlemen’s toiletries and grooming aids carrying a Bermuda message overseas, the house tied its packaging and brand narrative to Bermuda. Royall Lyme was introduced at Brooks Brothers in New York in 1960. It is identified as the house’s first and original fragrance, while Royall Yacht combines bright citrus with vetiver and musk. The Royall Lyme mark is currently owned by Royall Lyme Fragrances LLC after an assignment from Royall Lyme (Bermuda) Limited dated February 28, 2017 and registered on January 30, 2018.
