Yachtman

Yachtman’s documented history includes an earlier Yacht Man fragrance dated 1974 and associated with Spanish company Más Cosmetics, although the available evidence does not establish a separate founding date for the brand. On 1 November 1999, the YACHTMAN international trademark was transferred from Más Cosmetics, S.A. to Myrurgia, S.A., both Spanish companies. Founded in Barcelona in 1916 by Esteve Monegal i Prat, Myrurgia developed a brand identity shaped by orientalism, Hispanic exoticism, and hedonistic evocations, alongside an emphasis on artistic presentation and high-quality advertising. Myrurgia launched Yacht Man Blue in 2001, an aromatic fougère fragrance with Ramon Monegal credited as perfumer.
