Ylem Parfums

Ylem Parfums is a Germany-based fragrance project launched in 2024 by founder Moritz Sülz. Sülz found its core idea at the beginning of 2023, after more than 15 years as a fragrance enthusiast and collector. Based in Hamburg, the brand builds its creative identity around translating nebulae and other astronomical phenomena into fragrance; its name refers to the hypothetical primordial matter associated with the origins of the universe. Its development included a minimalist visual identity and a star-chart-inspired logo created with a Berlin design team. For the fragrances, Sülz worked closely with Swiss-based perfumer Andreas Wilhelm, using corresponding nebulae as their creative basis. The first public collection comprised three unisex Extraits de Parfum—Soap Bubble, Eye of God, and Eastern Veil—each inspired by a named nebula, with online release scheduled for June 2, 2025.
