Zara x Jo Loves
Zara x Jo Loves brings together Zara, founded in Spain in 1975 by Amancio Ortega through Zara España, and Jo Loves, the scent, bath, body and candle collection Jo Malone founded in 2011 after selling her eponymous fragrance business to Estée Lauder Companies in 1999. Jo Loves presents fragrance as a vehicle for memories, moments and emotional storytelling. In 2019, Zara and Jo Loves created Zara Emotions, an eight-fragrance collection of unisex scents and candles developed with Malone and created exclusively for Zara. Ebony Wood was singled out as a favorite within the collection, while Vetiver Pamplemousse was linked to Jo Loves’ Pomelo. By autumn 2025, Zara had issued a re-edition of fragrances developed with Malone, identifying her as founder of Jo Loves. The collaboration remains distinct from the Estée Lauder-owned Jo Malone London brand. In March 2026, Estée Lauder Europe and Jo Malone Limited filed a UK High Court claim against Malone, Jo Loves and Zara’s UK entity over the use of Malone’s name, alleging trademark infringement, passing off and breach of contract.
