Zarkoperfume

Founded in 2013 by Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov, Zarkoperfume followed his study of fragrance composition, which began in 2008. Based in Hornbæk, Denmark, the brand’s creative identity combines Scandinavian climate, lifestyle, nature and culture with molecular fragrance materials and traditional perfume composition. Pavlov personally selects ingredients and creates the fragrances, pursuing an independent approach that places the perfumer at the center and challenges conventional methods. Its first fragrance, Molécule 234.38, took almost five years to compose. By March 2024, Zarkoperfume had developed a broader range of molecular fragrances and scent sets. Pink Molécule and Molécule 234.38 were described as bestsellers, with Pink Molécule characterized as a classic and Molécule 234.38 centered on one dominant molecule. The related Zarko Beauty by Oli makeup line was created by Pavlov’s daughter, Olivia Ahlmann.
