Zilli

Founded in Lyon in 1965 through a partnership between a French family and Italian tailor Teofilo Zilli, Zilli grew from origins in leatherwork and men’s fashion into a men’s luxury house. Its identity is closely associated with the luxury leather jacket, particularly the Zilli blouson, and the house received France’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant recognition in 2010. In 2019, it presented the L’Art dans la peau capsule collection with Sergio Colantuoni, connecting its Franco-Italian heritage with a contemporary artistic project. Following judicial restructuring, Dubai-based Negma Group acquired Zilli with FAI in a court-approved transaction in December 2021; the acquisition took effect from 2022. By April 2023, FAI had exited, leaving Negma as sole shareholder. Zilli entered fragrance in spring 2020 with its first perfume collection, including four Millésime fragrances created by perfumer Karine Dubreuil.
